DJSA Architecture seeks a Mid-Level Architect or experienced Project Manager with strong technical and design abilities to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate would be one who relishes working as a collaborative team member and leading a project from conception through construction. Project Architect / Project Manager
What You Will Do:
- Manage all aspects of client, team, and project coordination, including full documentation coordination with consultants.
- Lead the design team and conduct client meetings
- Execute programming, space planning, and the development of design concepts
- Ability to produce accurate and highly detailed construction documents. Production will be solely Revit-based.
- Perform QA/QC reviews of projects
- Perform construction administration duties on various projects.
- Extensive interface with clients, consultants as well as building and permitting officials
- Present project information at various public meetings as required, including ZBA, Planning Board, and Design Reviews
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff
Qualifications:
- Positive, upbeat personality with the confidence to be the lead on projects.
- Relevant experience within an architectural firm setting, Professional Degree in Architecture
- Proficient in Revit
- Experience with delivering all phases of a project with various project types.
- Strong technical knowledge and extensive experience in architectural design, material & systems detailing and building envelope systems design
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to articulate well in both verbal and written communication; comfortable with presenting information to clients, consultants, and other parties; is able to play an active role in client, team meetings, and public hearings when applicable.
