Dennis Swart, AIA, NCARB

President / Architect

Dennis received his Bachelor of Architecture degree from Boston Architectural College. As a registered architect with over 25 years experience, Dennis has a broad range of experience in commercial, institutional, hospitality, retail and residential design.

He is committed to provide his clients with thoughtful, creative designs along with responsive, personal service. He truly understands what it takes not only to design a project but also what it takes for the skilled craftsmen to build it.

Dennis is a licensed to practice architecture in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maine, Connecticut and Florida. He is also certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.

Zachary Silvia, AIA, NCARB

Principal / Director of Operations

Zach oversees the firm’s daily operations related to project execution, ensuring the seamless completion of projects. His responsibilities encompass management of the design and technical staff, project schedules, and team workflow.

Zach’s attention to detail, management skills, and drive earned him success early in his career.  He has a broad range of experience in the private and public practice of Architecture.
Projects include residential, commercial, public safety, and educational facilities.  While studying Architecture, he spent time working for a contractor as a laborer to further understand the drawings being produced and how they would be interpreted in the field.

Zach is licensed to practice architecture in Massachusetts.  He is also certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Roger Williams University.

Ann McCoy

 Office Manager/Bookkeeper

Ann has many years of experience performing office work for a variety of businesses.  After receiving her degree from Stonehill College, she worked for 9 years as a Victim/Witness Advocate for a District Attorney’s Office.  She then worked 5 years as an Office Manager/Bookkeeper for a sales company and 9 years as an Accounting Manager for a restoration contracting company. 

Ann handles a variety of different tasks and is an essential member of the DJSA team.  Her experience, positive attitude, and organizational skills help the firm run smoothly.

Christina Cimino

 Assistant Project Manager

Christina’s creative design approach and attention to detail make her an important asset on any project. Her past project experience includes K-12 schools, public safety complexes, and other municipal projects as well as experience in the construction management field.

She is currently pursuing her National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) licensure. She holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Roger Williams University.

Christina serves as a key team member throughout all phases of a project. Her skills in 3D modeling, drafting, rendering and experience in construction administration make her an essential part of the project team. 

Dan Clark

 Assistant Project Manager

Dan holds a Master of Architecture and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology.  He has a broad range of experience working on all project phases.  He has successfully designed a variety of healthcare projects and is adept at working on multiple complex projects simultaneously.

Dan brings his industrious, detail-oriented, and energetic nature to DJSA.  His excellent communication skills, ability to convey construction concepts and plans, and affable personality greatly benefit our firm and clients.

Deven Riley-Marini

 Assistant Project Manager

Deven holds a Bachelor of Art in Architectural Design from the University of Massachusetts.  She has years of experience working on both commercial and residential projects.  She is well-versed in leading projects from the early stages of site documentation through the construction stage to the final sign-off.

Deven is a crucial team member equipped with solid multi-tasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills that thrive in a high-paced, deadline-driven environment.   She is detail-oriented and excellent at communication.  She brings energy and enthusiasm to all of her projects. 

Brett Gonzalez

Designer

Brett holds a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Building Technology from the New England Institute of Technology.  He has experience working on industrial, retail, and hospitality projects. 

Brett is proficient with Revit, Lumion, and AutoCAD.  He has extensive knowledge in designing plans and renderings from existing condition scans.  His design, analytical thinking, and communication skills make him an essential part of our team. 

In his spare time, Brett enjoys being outdoors, traveling, playing and watching sports, along with spending time with family and friends.
