The existing 1980’s era kitchen was small and dark with little natural light. The goal of the new kitchen was to open up the rear of the home to allow for better flow and improved natural light within the kitchen area. A new, large, wood countertop island is the focal point of the kitchen allowing for increase work space and informal entertaining.
A new desk/message center was incorporated into the kitchen area. Finally, a portion of the existing garage was repurposed for a new entry, mudroom and hallway connecting to an existing family room.
